Lanzarote wants to be world leader in anti-plastics campaign

Lanzarote is stepping up its long-running campaign to warn about the dangers of discarded plastics to the environment and hopes to reach international attention. The project to encourage “zero plastics” was launched five years ago and all involved, including the Cabildo, are happy with its success and with the response from local people, tourists and businesses.
