Lanzarote gives 18,000 euros to beach safety group

Lanzarote Cabildo has dipped into its own pocket to tighten up security along the south coast of the island. President, Pedro San Ginés said although it was not their responsibility, they were happy to give 18,000 euros to the Association of Volunteers in Emergency and Rescue of Lanzarote.
