Latest Covid figures for Canaries: November 23rd 

The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands notified 276 new cases of COVID-19 as of November 24th. 

The total accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 101,191 with 2,511 active, of which 28 are admitted to the ICU and 175 remain hospitalised. There have been two more deaths in the Canary Islands, two women in Gran Canaria, 87 and 94 years old. Both had previous pathologies and were being admitted to the hospital.

The Accumulated Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 77.94 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days in 136.31 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.

By islands, Tenerife added 122 cases with a total of 48,147 accumulated cases and 1,132 epidemiologically active cases; Gran Canaria has 38,613 accumulated cases, 121 more than the previous day and 995 active. Lanzarote adds 13 new cases with 7,404 accumulated and 138 epidemiologically active; Fuerteventura has 4,919 accumulated cases, with 18 new cases, and 202 active ones. La Palma adds a new positive so it has 1,190 accumulated and 31 assets. El Hierro does not add new positives, so its accumulated are 469 and one active case. La Gomera adds a new case and has 448 accumulated and twelve assets.

To date, a total of 2,357,798 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 6,386 correspond to November 22nd.
