Coronavirus cases in Canaries: September 25th figures released
The Ministry of Health of the Government of the Canary Islands reported on September 25th 69 new cases of coronavirus COVID-19.
The total accumulated cases in the Canary Islands is 94,651 with 1,949 active, of which 40 are admitted to the ICU and 196 remain hospitalised. In the last hours no death from COVID-19 has been reported in the Canary Islands.
The Accumulated Incidence at 7 days in the Canary Islands stands at 24.86 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 14 days at 57.54 cases per 100,000 inhabitants.
By islands, Tenerife added 29 cases with a total of 45,295 accumulated cases and 1,006 epidemiologically active cases; Gran Canaria has 36,182 accumulated cases, 17 more than the previous day and 679 active. Lanzarote adds 14 new cases with 6,812 accumulated and 105 epidemiologically active; Fuerteventura has 4,402 accumulated cases with eight more cases than the previous day and 140 active. La Palma adds a new case and has 1,097 accumulated and nine assets; El Hierro does not register new cases, so its accumulated are 458 and its assets seven. For its part, La Gomera does not increase its cases, so it has 402 accumulated and one active.
To date, a total of 2,112,113 diagnostic tests have been carried out in the Islands, of which 4,783 correspond to September 24th.
