Astonishment as man takes CHICKEN on a lead out for a walk!
A man has been slammed as “senseless” after passers-by spotted him walking a CHICKEN on a lead in the Canary Islands!
Under Spain’s State of Emergency laws in a bid to control the spread of coronavirus, he now faces a fine of between 601 and 30,000 euros for breaching Civil Protection laws.
A video of the man out walking in Lanzarote has gone viral with few people seeing the funny side when they are “stuck inside in quarantine”.
“This isn’t a joke,” said one. “You have to know when to use humour and when not to and certainly not in the days we are currently living in.”
Police in Yaiza are to take action against the man after the video was posted on the social networks and he was identified.
The State of Emergency regulations, which run until at least April 11th, permit people to be on the streets to walk their dog, go to the supermarket, bank or chemist, travel to and from work or visit an elderly relative in need. There are NO other exceptions.
Another man has already been fined for taking his GOAT out for a walk.
