With a budget of around 300,000 euros, it will begin this February with a duration that will extend from the present year 2020, 2021 and the possibility of extending it for another year.
The plan of initiatives, which involve more than 5,300 annual hours of active sport, is currently in the period of public consultation. Classes will be held in educational and sports centres and public centres and are divided into five setions#: the first is maintenance for the elderly (adult physicist, functional training, functional gymnastics, gymnastics for everyone, taichi, pilates and zumba), in addition to zumba kids; the second is rhythmic gymnastics for minors; the third is martial arts (judo, taekwondo and karate); the fourth is for tennis and padel for minors, and the fifth is for extracurricular activities with skating, indoor soccer, initiation to athletics and baseball.
Marcos González explains that there was a first phase of activities until December and that in the next dates the second block will begin, with a budget larger than that of other years and in which new features are included.
“The objective is to develop a programme that combines the real demand of the population. Very few places carry out a sports programme and an economic investment for sports as important as the one carried out in this municipality, which this year has a budget of more than 1,107,000 euros ” he said.
Once the public exposure period and the corresponding processing is over, the population will be informed through the offices of the Citizen Attention Service (SAC) and on the institutional digital platforms.
