The Canarian Federation of Karate collaborates in the organisation, whose president, Pepe Pérez, explains that “the activity will be directed by Yaiza Díaz, who is a fourth in the black belt.”
“This day has been proposed as an introduction to karate, while teaching in self-defence. The warm up will be done with a kind of zumba. I encourage any woman to sign up, whether she is regularly related to sports or not, and of any age, ”says Sr. Pérez.
“The idea is that participants have fun playing sports. For a long time in the Federation we have been detecting a great interest in this type of meetings, hence our commitment to carry out one in La Laguna.”
