Arona offers two ski destinations for White Week 2020
Two groups, two destinations, Andorra and the Catalan Pyrenees; this is the proposal of the Arona Sports Board for the White Week 2020.
The initiative is once again being launched by Arona council through its Municipal Sports Board but it will be the first time in the ski resorts of La Molina (Alp 2500) Catalan Pyrenees and Andorra (Grand Valira) in the Andorran Pyrenees.
“The objective of this sporting trip is to bring skiing and snowboarding closer to fans and to the residents of the municipality who wish to start in these winter sports specialties. The characteristics of the activity allow both young people, adults and families of Arona to participate,” a spokesman explained.
Taking into account the demand of users who in previous years have chosen to spend the week of skiing carnivals, the sports entity has prepared two destinations.
Destination Alp 2500, La Molina and La Masella in the Catalan Pyrenees, has 140 kilometres of track. The departure of this group will be on Saturday, February 22, spending a week at the foot of the piste. Another group will travel to the Grand Valira station in Andorra, with 200 kilometres of ski track, leaving on Sunday 23 and returning on February 29.
Both trips have air transfers and buses, accommodation, meals, breakfast and dinner, five days of course, ski pass for every day and travel and ski insurance.
Prices vary depending on the type of accommodation, where double, triple and single rooms are offered, ranging between €770 and €1,030.
Registration can be done at the offices of the Technical Sports Cabinet in the Jesus Domínguez “Grillo” Hall of Los Cristianos, giving priority until October 31 to residents in the municipality of Arona. Non-residents may register from Thursday October 10 in a reservation list and from November 1 they will be called in order of registration to complete the reservation of the activity.
