Tacande presents “Footprints of Creation”
The exhibition hall of the Museum of History of Granadilla de Abona hosts until October 30th a collective exhibition by the Tacande Art group.
Entitled “Footprints of Creation”, it was inaugurated by the Mayor, José Domingo Regalado and the councillors of social services and citizen participation, María de la O Gaspar and Raquel Morales, respectively.
Tacande Art was founded this year by La Palma artist, José Roberto Martín, and is formed by artists of different nationalities, styles and generations. All participants in this cultural project share the love for art and its purpose, in addition to expressing their different sensitivities through their works, is to build a bridge between different cultures and make their works known inside and outside their own countries of origin.
The group of artists comes from diverse places like Russia, Latvia, Mexico, Venezuela, Cuba and the Canary Islands. The pictorial styles are varied and range from impressionism, through abstract naive and cubism, with influences from many other artistic expressions. Despite its recent creation, Tacande Art has already confirmed different exhibitions in different locations in Tenerife and several proposals to show them in different parts of the Canary Islands.
Visitors can see the exhibition Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 2pm.
