Multiple activities planned for “Young Art in the Street”
Young Art in the Street” has unveiled its official poster in the countdown to the popular event in La Orotava.
Among the 20 posters submitted to the Crearte contest, convened by the Department of Youth of La Orotava council to promote this attraction, the work presented by Alicia González García, who will receive a prize of 200 euros, has won.
The popular fair will be held on October 27th from 10am to 3pm in the historic centre of the Villa.
The reason for the chosen poster refers to this singular and already consolidated activity. Thus several young people appear with fun and cheerful expressions, practising various disciplines that are displayed in the fair itself.
In the next fair of Young Art in the Street, numerous young people will be taking part who will stage their genius and multiple artistic modalities such as dance, theatre, music, graffiti, pictorial and photography, cartoons and body expression , among others.
Councillor for youth, Darío Afonso praised all the entries for their great quality and style which had made the jury’s task very difficult. He thanked them for taking part and encouraged them to continue participating, congratulating especially the young winner.
The poster expresses very well the objective and motive of Young Art in the Street, which year after year is a success and an attraction for residents and visitors.
