Revolver returns to La Orotava
Revólver”, the Spanish pop-rock group founded and led by the Madrid musician and composer Carlos Goñi, is returning to La Orotava.
The band scored a massive hit when last in the municipality in 2013 and 2016 for the Festival “La Orotava Suena”.
Revolver will present their new work “Basic IV”, recorded live in Madrid before an audience totally unaware of what was happening.
This new album arrives 13 years after the release of their first acoustic disc. It went on sale in May in disc-book format and includes an audio CD with 13 tracks that had never been recorded on a Revolver disc and a DVD with 18 songs, two of them also unpublished and three that are a version of songs included in the Basic I. It also includes photographs of the concert recording made by Irena Bernard and written texts of the lyrics of Carlos Goñi.
The concert will be on Saturday, September 7th from 9pm at the Teobaldo Power Auditorium. Tickets can be obtained through tomatic-ket.es and on the Owl Club phone: 686479388.
The celebration of this concert is another example of the commitment to culture that takes place in the municipality. This concert, together with those already held in September within the Festival ‘La Orotava Suena’, offers a musical programme for all audiences without leaving La Orotava.
