New tourism office in Playa de las Américas
A new tourist office has opened in Playa de las Americas as Arona council pledges to bring its tourism plans closer to the people.
The previous facilities in Avenida Rafael Puig Lluvina have been remodelled and will also serve as the headquarters for Arona’a Tourist Board.
Tourism councillor David Perez said the premises would also provide a venue for meetings with different professionals to plan the way ahead for the municipality.
“We are preparing for the new challenge of digitising the destination, improving accessibility and delving into sustainability as a Biosphere certified destination,” he said.
