Invitation to join in “Young Summer” programme
Around 40 Granadilla residents have recently enjoyed a night route to see the stars in the Teide National Park.
This was through the activity organised by the Department of Youth, headed by Raquel Morales, and which is part of the programme “Young Summer” which started in July and will run until September.
The initiative allowed the participants to enjoy a celestial show of rain of stars during a different evening and touring a unique path.
The council would like to encourage people to join the rest of the activities that will take place soon, including Siam Park in Adeje on September 13th; and to Loro Parque in Puerto de la Cruz on August 30th and September 20th. The price is 13 euros per person, with the events taking place from 8am to 7pm.
The programme is preferably aimed at those registered in the municipality; places are limited and registrations can be made through the offices of the Citizen Service (SAC) in Granadilla, San Isidro and El Médano. It has been organised with the purpose of filling leisure and free time and based on the demands of this population sector, so new ideas are very welcome.
