Exhibitions coincide with Adeje summer university
By sheer coincidence, the 27th edition of the Summer University of Adeje is offering 27 courses and workshops to 563 people enrolled.
Those most in demand include sign language, microplastics, equality, sport for all and new technologies such as robotics and 3D printing.
This event, already consolidated in the training programme of Adeje, is organised by the local council and the University of La Laguna.
Councillor for culture and education of Adeje, María Clavijo Maza, recently appointed to the position, praised”the great work that all the staff of both the University and the council do to develop such an intense and attractive programme.”
The council has once again enabled a bus service with routes from the north of the island and the metropolitan area, with the aim of facilitating access to this training throughout the island.
The Summer University of Adeje is also characterised by offering an extensive complementary programme in the field of musical, theatrical, artistic or media culture
Art can be enjoyed by the San Juan Association with its Art-Sano Exhibition.
Two more exhibitions, this time informative, will be exhibited at the Cultural Centre. The first “We do science”, promoted by the ULL and the Cabildo de Tenerife, is dedicated to making visible the work that women scientists are leading, especially at the University of La Laguna.
The second exhibition is titled “Anonymous is the name of a woman” and aims to be a tribute to all those brave women who dare to challenge the norms imposed by society and sought alternatives to be heard and read.
