Drug clampdown continues in Santa Cruz
A 22-year-old Spanish man has been arrested for peddling hashish near the city’s bullring.
He was surprised by officers when he was driving in his vehicle, which he used for the sale of the narcotic drug, in the company of another person.
Once he spotted the polie, he tried to escape, throwing the drugs away. Once caught and detained, he was found with 100 euros in cash and a high-end mobile phone, together with 56 grams of hashish.
The arrest is framed within the ongoing campaign for the prevention and suppression of the traffic of narcotic substances, carried out by the National Police in different areas of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
