Good Samaritans help woman

A nurse and lifeguard managed to revive a 45-year-old woman who was pulled from the water in Fuerteventura.

The incident happened on the Esquinzo beach in Pájara and brought a range of emergency services to the scene, including the fire brigade, emergency medics, the police and Civil Guard.

On their arrival, they found the woman had suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest but had been revived by the two good samaritans. She was stabilised before being transferred to the general hospital in Fuerteventura.
