All Saints church news

All Saints Church is situated in Parque Taoro, Puerto de la Cruz. Do come and visit us even if it’s just for a walk around this delightful old church which is the pride and joy of so many of us past and present.

Services are held on the following days:

Wednesdays 10am: Service of Holy Communion.

Sundays 9.30am: Traditional Service of Holy Communion Book of Common Prayer.

Sundays 11am: Sung Eucharist.

On Thursday 19th April at 4pm All Saints will be holding its Annual Parochial Church Meeting in the church.

On a sadder note All Saints Church will be remembering the passengers and crew who lost their lives in the Dan Air crash of 25th April 1980 with Prayers in our Memorial Rose Garden after the 11am Sung Eucharist Service on Sunday April 22nd .

Saturday May 5th sees once again our Car Boot, the penultimate before the final one of the season on June 2nd . Come along and enjoy a great day out. Lots of stalls selling various wares, hunt for that must have bargain and of course áreas where you can relax and have a drink hot or cold with friends after the flurry of shopping. Rays Bistro will be open if you wish to partake of some food.

Rayco continues to hold choir lessons in the church on a Tuesday evening from 8pm to 10pm. For more information phone Rayco on 699649454

As mentioned in the last Issue of Tenerife News, All Saints is happy to announce the appointment of an Interim Priest for a period of 17 months. Reverend Dr Paula Cliffords first Service in our church will be on Sunday 29th April, Reverend Paula will be licensed by the Archdeacon of Gibraltar The Venerable Geoff Johnston on Sunday May 13th in All Saints Church at the 11am Service.

To all our swallows returning to UK for the summer we wish you well and look forward to your return later in the year.

Our locum Priest until April 24th is Reverend Stewart Timbrell who has been with us many times over our Interregnum. Father Stewart and all the various locums we have had over the last few years we thank you all most sincerely.
