Two caught for drug trafficking
The Local Police of Arona have detained two people for selling drugs and seized hundreds of euros in foreign currency.
The two separate operations took place at dawn in urban streets of Playa de Las Americas and ended with the detection of numerous doses of marijuana, hashish and cocaine prepared for sale.
Officers were accompanied by the canine dog unit.
Both people arrested were of foreign nationality, one of them without documents. They had in their possession 125 grams of cocaine, marijuana and hashish distributed in individual doses for sale. Numerous foreign currency notes were also seized, which included dollars, pounds sterling and Lebanese pounds valued in hundreds of euros.
They were caught in the pedestrian promenade of Las Vistas beach and on Avenida Rafael Puig Lluvina.
