New name, new theme for La Pinta hotel
The popular four-star La Pinta hotel in Costa Adeje is undergoing a major facelift to appeal to the family market.
A project is also being planned which will allow the establishment to “fit into the environment”.
The hotel is currently closed as the reformations continue but is due to reopen in August. It will be known as the Hovima La Pinta Beachf-ront Family Hotel.
President of Tenerife Cabildo, Carlos Alonso and tourism chief, Alberto Bernabé were among guests who attended a recent guided tour. They were joined by representatives of the hotel group and of the hotel employers’ association, Ashotel.
The hotel renovation is taking place in phases, the first phase of which is being carried out at this time, and involves a total investment of eight million euros. The first phase began on April 17th and is planned to end on July 31th.
During the visit, the model of a thematisation of ‘The Pinta Ocean Window’, a project of Nosolocamas Alliance and Tourism of Tenerife, was presented for the environmental interpretation of the marine ecosystem of Tenerife, especially of the area of Costa Adeje where this hotel is located. The ultimate goal of this project is to connect this establishment with its surroundings.
