Viewpoint to be completed in coming months
The pathway which leads to the well-known viewing point at Los Gigantes is to benefit shortly from a one million euro project.
The project is to be completed in the coming months and Santiago del Teide council says it will considerably improve the tourist attraction as part of an overall regeneration scheme.
Street furniture, benches, lighting and signage will all be renewed and there will be major attention to the landscaping and vegetation.
The Mayor, other councillors and technical authors of the scheme recently visited the site to discuss progress.
The council says this area is an important environmental and tourist resources for the area. The project will therefore “increase its charm” and the attractiveness of the coastal area.
