Skateboarders shine in Los Realejos 

More than 60 skate boarders from Tenerife, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura took part in a tournament held in Los Realejos.

The Canary Skate Championships had categories for the under-16s and open and were hotly contested.

The event was held in the skatepark of the Basilio La-brador sports centre and was hosted by Los Realejos council and In-Process.

This was the second round of scoring for the championships. The under-16 cate-gory was won by Carlos Pérez of Los Realejos, Nicolás León was second and Gerónimo Rossi third.

The open section went to Benjamín Bermejo, with David Fernández second and Pablo Pérez third.
