The “real jewels” of farming
The year of 2015 will see further spotlights on traditional agricultural products and methods in Tegueste.
The council has once again pledged its support to “local treasures” and is arranging workshop, lectures and training courses. Those interested are invited to ring 922 316118/44 or find out more on the web www.tegueste.es.
Each month will also be dedicated to a local product, such as the carrot in March, wine in April, mushrooms in May, cereals in June and pears in July.
The programme aims to foster knowledge of the “real jewels” of farming and to enourage entrepreneurs to go back to the land.
