Tenerife’s new Hard Rock Cafe is preparing to celebrate its official inauguration in style and help charity at the same time.
On Friday evening of March 14th, it will be hosting a benefit gala concert to raise funds for the Spanish Association against Cancer (AECC). The proceeds will specifically help patients in the south of Tenerife to get to the north for treatment.
The charity gala will include dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe and an exclusive performance by the top Spanish pop artist Leiva who will perform some of the best tracks from his new album “Pólvora” or “Gunpowder”.
Tickets for this evening cost 65 euros, of which 35 euros will go to the project “Km solidario” .
The cheque will be presented as part of the inauguration of the Hard Rock Cafe the following evening, Saturday, March 15th.
This second evening is open to members of the public and festivities will begin at 7pm with all sorts of fun and surprises planned, including the reappearance of Leiva in a performance for all.
The main floor and first floor of the new Hard Rock Cafe in Playa de las Americas at the Pyramids de Arona and Mare Nostrum Resort, has a capacity for over 350 people and includes lively bars, two open-air terraces, a Rock Shop and a space for live music acts to feature artists from the local music scene.
Memorabilia adorns the walls from legendary and contemporary musicians, including a flowered dress from Madonna and a jacket signed by Elvis.
*Tickets for the March 14th gala evening can be purchased at the Hard Rock Cafe itself (the restaurant is already open but March 15th is its official inauguration).
