Ferreteria El Palmar for all your needs

A new hardware store has recently opened in Palm Mar which will be a godsend to many people, whether you live here, are on holiday, passing by or perhaps working on a project.

Owners Carlos and his sister Faby stock a wide range of goods, including electrical items, and if you can’t see what you want, just ask and they can order it in within 24 hours. There’s also same-day free delivery in Palm Mar and the prices are very affordable for an outlying shop and will give you a pleasant surprise, not a shock.

There are kettles and toasters, light bulbs and ironing boards, fans and heaters, microwaves, buckets, knives, tools, plumbing items, electrical fittings, batteries, super-glue, locks, torches and much more.

Some paint is in stock but a specific colour can be mixed up for you within 24 hours and if you don’t want to buy tools, such as a drill, you can hire them by the day.

Carlos lives in Palm Mar and felt a ferreteria was exactly what was needed to fill a gap in what is an increasingly popular area of Arona, just ten minutes from Las Galletas and Los Cristianos. If you live in the surrounding district, it’s worth taking a drive in because you can park right outside so won’t face a long walk or have to drive round and round looking for a space.

You will find Ferreteria El Palmar on the right of the last stretch of Avenida El Palmar, the road towards the sea-front, at Edificio Flamingo. It is open Monday to Friday 8am to 8pm, Saturdays 8.30am to 5pm and Sundays from 9.30am to 1pm. These hours are continuous; there are no closures for lunch.

Carlos also speaks English so you can always ring to discuss what you need on 822 14 11 44/638 44 64 43 or email on carlosjosepalmar@outlo-ok.es to make an enquiry or place an order.

This is one of those shops where you will find just the thing you need such as a good pair of scissors or that pipe or fitting you need for your bathroom. Or perhaps it’s a drill bit you need or a multi-plug socket or adaptor. There are also paint brushes, a few little things you could give as a gift (such as a lovely box of miniature cups and saucers), kitchen-ware like bowls and plastic containers, hair driers, For Sale or To Rent signs, hardware tape, step ladder, locks and alarms.

The ferreteria also sells some attractive shopping trolley bags and beach items, including fold-up chairs and inflatable boats. Most of the products also have guarantees.
