Say it with flowers
An interesting letter received by the Tenerife News from regular reader and contributor, Christine Hoban of Amarilla Golf got us thinking and perhaps it is something which might catch on here?
Christine, who is a flower arranger/florist but retired, is still very interested in flowers and found something in a newsletter from Fusion Flowers Floristry magazine which, she says, “made my heart sing”.
When you read on, you will understand why as when you see flowers by the road or by a monument, it usually means someone has died and the bouquets have been left to remember them.
Not so in this case. Christine wanted to tell us about the article, quoted below, because she feels newspapers tend to major on bad news, rather than good news (though we hope the Tenerife News presents the right balance).
This is the article which caught her attention.
