Cat poisoning

Dear Editor

Someone is poisoning the feral cats in Callao Salvaje. They should be ashamed of them-selves!  To see a young kitten writhing in agony because of their cruel actions is heart-breaking. Some of us, do our best to make sure the cats have food and water and when we can, we trap them and get them neutered and spayed – in the hope of keeping the numbers down. Unfortunately, there is no government funding available for the neutering and spaying of feral cats – if only there was! It would certainly be a more humane treatment than poisoning, which is so  cruel.
