Tenerife Tourism ppromotes its media campaigns in the travel industry PDF Print E-mail

Tenerife Tourism  has consolidated Tenerife's presence in Belgium and Holland with their 2011 strategy to attract more tourists from both countries, which brought in a total of 270,000 passengers last year, 6% of the 4,800,000 who came to Tenerife in 2010.

This year, between June and September, travel agents and tour operators from Belgium will be invited to Tenerife to familiarise themselves with the island, co-inciding with an intense campaign on Liberty TV (Belgium)  by promoting its website to reach two million clicks, which will link directly to discount holiday tour operators on Tenerife.

In the Netherlands, a campaign will be aimed at both travel agents and direct customers interested in exclusive holiday offers in four and five star hotels combining everything related to wellness, spa's and golf.
Promoting Tenerife in Dutch luxury travel magazines and Reisrevue Vakantie Deluxe (also in its digital version reisrevue.nl) and the portal opreisgids.nl will also familiarise travel agents with Tenerife's attractions.
