Two British women were rescued after a brave helicopter crew fought dangerously bad weather. The women, aged 54 and 57, were stranded on a remote precipice on La Gomera after one of them fell and broke a leg. Unable to walk, the rescue services were called in but strong gusts of wind of up to 60km per hour made the conditions extremely hazardous for the helicopter crew.
