Two fishermen had a miracle escape from death after spending hours in the ocean off Gran Canaria.

The men, aged 77 and 26, had left home at 7am but worried relatives called the police when they failed to return home after dark.
The Civil Guard's Marine Service launched a search and they were eventually located at 4am, hanging on to an over-turned inflatable boat. They were both taken to hospital suffering from slight hypothermia.
