On July 16th El Arenal celebrated 12 months in business.

The idea behind this venture was to cut out the middlemen and wholesalers in the food chain, thus being able to provide only the freshest fruit and vegetables at a lower cost, direct to the public. It also serves as an outlet for many other home grown products having expanded their range to include, cheeses, frozen meat and local wine by the bottle or by the litre. The difference between shopping in the large supermarkets and shopping here is apparent about a week after the purchase.
