Different locations along the coast, Costa Adeje in the south or Playa de Las Teresitas in Santa Cruz, offer the promise of adventure, sport and fun. You discover not only the delights of the sea but beautiful places, such as small hidden beaches, which are not accessible by land.
The La Orotava-based company Patea Tus Montes is this year celebrating its 15th anniversary and has an expert team waiting to introduce you to a new adventure, whether it be canoeing or kayaking or everything from scaling mountains to star-gazing walks and everything in between.
The company is innovative and award-winning and was delighted this year to receive a special mention award at the prestigious FITUR travel fair for creating its Route of the Titans.
Patea Tus Montes is introducing more and more people to the delights of active and rural tourism on Tenerife and can do so for individuals, families, bigger groups, travel agents, students and companies (perhaps a paint-balling day as an incentive, for example.)
Kayaking is organised virtually throughout the year and every weekend in July and August in Los Gigantes, Punta de Teno, the Radazul coast in El Rosario, Las Teresitas and Costa Adeje. The company has ten double kayaks (for groups of 20 people at a time) and provides all the necessary equipment. All the equipment is provided and, of course, the experts. All you need for 20 euros per person is a little bit of balance and a few hours of tuition to pick up this unforgettable pastime. See www.pateatusmontes.com
