Spanish nationalities vetoed by police

Nearly 250 Colombians who achieved Spanish nationality after paying for bogus papers have had their citizenships cancelled.

National Police issued the orders following the discovery of a gang which asked for 5,000 euros from each client to gt the false paperwork.

Cabildo unveils new app to promote restaurants

Tenerife Cabildo has unveiled a new way for visitors and local people to choose which restaurant to visit in the Canary Islands.

A new app has been developed for smartphones and tablets and is currently featuring 215 restaurants in the archipelago, with this number expected to rise to 300 by the end of the year.

A 23-year-old woman was rescued by the emergency helicopter after practising the sport of rappel in El Rosario.
