Ten people have now been arrested on Gran Canaria for running a scam which offered cars for sale with tampered clocks.

Occupants escape house fire

The occupants of a house in Santa Brigida on Gran Canaria escaped unharmed when fire broke out.

Emergency services were called out in the early evening following a call to the 1-1-2 control centre. They included the fire brigade, police, Guardia Civil and Canary Urgency Service.
