Rivero presses EU for reserve fund for Canaries

The president of the Canary Government, Paulino Rivero has called on the European Commission to create a reserve fund of 6.3 million euros for the archipelago.

He says the islands should not be discriminated against because of their location and it would be impossible for them to compete against other countries in terms of individual bids.
