Titsa bus fire

Motorists using the TF-1 in the south of Tenerife would have been concerned to see a burnt Titsa bus last week.

The vehicle was in the Barranco Hondo area, in the direction of Santa Cruz and had obviously experienced some sort of problem.

House fire in Arona

Tenerife firemen were called out to deal with an incident in a house in Arona.

Firefighters based at San Miguel de Abona were alerted to a fire in camino Los Morritos at 10am.

Police raid Silencio house

Police kept watch on a house in Costa del Silencio for several days before launching a raid. Inside, they found a room dedicated to the cultivation of cannabis.

Agents with the Civil Guard at Playa de Las Americas started a surveillance operation after being told about the existence of marijuana inside the home.
