El Rosario plans weekend away

El Rosario is organising a trip to Lanzarote which will be open to non-residents of the municipality if there are enough spare spaces.

This is the eighth edition of the scheme and takes place from April 10th to 12th and costs 235 euros. This includes taxes, airline tickets, accommodation on a half board basis, transport, organised tours and lunch en route.

Police recover antiques after armed robbery

A joint operation by police in Spain and Portugal has led to the recovery of a series of stolen works of art and antiquities, valued at 600,000 euros.

Among the recovered objects is a chalice of the 16th century, a 17th century Indo-Portuguese chest and silverware pieces from the 17th and 18th centuries.
