Four-star hotels still the most popular in Tenerife

Nearly 3.4 million tourists stayed in hotels in Tenerife in 2014 and of these, more than two million opted for four-star hotels, representing about 60 per cent of the total.

The figures are revealed in new data published by Tenerife Cabildo for last year when 5,148,453 people visited the island, 3.53 per cent more than the previous year (4,973,047) .
