Arona gets six new adapted taxis
Arona has incorporated six new adapted taxis that reinforce the accessibility of the service in the municipality.
The Mayor, José Julián Mena, accompanied by the councillor in charge of transport, Leopoldo Díaz Oda, together with the president of the association Radio Taxi Arona, Pedro Manuel Luis Hernández, met with the new licensees of vehicles adapted to people with functional diversity.
Arona has made accessibility in recent years one of the keys of the local council’s work, obtaining numerous prizes of national and international character in this matter.
“The incorporation of new adapted taxis will allow us to give a better service to the users of this type of transport that have functional diversity,” said a council spokesman.
