Brit arrested for selling drugs to tourists on Costal del Sol
A British man has been arrested for selling the dangerous cannibal drug pyrovalerone to holidaymakers on the Costa del Sol.
Police said the 46-year-old singled out Brit tourists in the bars and clubs of Fuengirola and hid the drugs inside a leather bracelet he wore to deflect suspicion.
He was caught red-handed in the popular nightspot zone following a tip-off that a British man was selling drugs.
During the arrest, seven plastic bags with thermosealed containers containing cocaine – three of them inside the wristband – were found and 45 euros in cash.
Later, when his house was searched, police seized a further stash, including 14 grams of MDPV, the cannibal drug, 50.5 grams of speed, 48 grams of cocaine, seven of MDMA, a score of ecstasy pills, a bottle of liquid ecstasy, four balloons containing nitrous oxide, scales and 900 euros.
“Cannibal” is so-called because it can make people aggressive and act like they are possessed.
