The Alfredo Kraus Auditorium in Gran Canaria has launched a subscription scheme for the latest “Jazz Corner” concerts.

Sinne Eeg, ST Fusion, PATAX, Tony Momrelle, Mike Moreno and Marco Mezquida star in a programme that combines jazz with sounds of funk, R & B, classic-jazz and jazz fusion.

The subscription has a price of 75 euros for the six concerts; 60 euros, for five; and 50 euros for a package of four.

“El Rincón del Jazz” offers its international line-up between January and June, starting with the Danish singer Sinne Eeg on January 26th, then ST Fusión of the Canaries on February 10th, PATAX, who will offer an explosive concert on March 17th; Tony Momrelle, one of the most popular artists on the R & B and soul scene, who will perform on April 14th; American guitarist Mike Moreno, who will arrive on May 19th; and the pianist Marco Mezquida, who will present his work Los sueños de Ravel on June 2nd.

Tickets and passes can be purchased at the box offices of the Teatro Pérez Galdós, from 10am to 3pm and the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium from 4pm to 9pm; or through the web pages www.auditorioteatrolaspalmasgc.es and www.auditorioalfredokra-us.com.

Since opening in December 2003, the Jazz Corner has become a meeting point for jazz fans and a reference for artists who develop their career around this genre. The cycle, which takes place in the Sala Jerónimo Saavedra, creates a unique atmosphere that manages to transfer the audience to the atmosphere of sophisticated jazz clubs. With an intimate lighting, crowned by the iconic neon of the Jazz Corner, the music invites you to enjoy the rhythm accompanied by a drink of a wide range of drinks.
