Icod de los Vinos “not just a place to pass through”

Icod de los Vinos has officially unveiled a new tourist brand. The municipality presented its plans for the future when represented at the leading travel trade fair FITUR in Madrid.

The new branding aims to promote the municipality as a holiday tourist destination.

The image represents the icon par excellence: the Millenary Drago, accompanied by the slogan ‘Icod de los Vinos Turismo’, which will be used as a trademark of the Tourism Department and will be present in all tourist establishments, as well as being part of the staff uniforms of the Drago Park.

The brand has been included in the new tourism web, an initiative created by the graphic designer Leandra Roque so that visitors who come to Icod de los Vinos identify the brand immediately.

Councillor for tourism, Jannet Pérez said: “The municipality has enough packaging to have its own distinctive brand; our idea is to turn the municipality into a holiday destination, and not just a place of passing through, so our actions are directed in that direction. “
