San Juan de la Rambla is ready for Christmas
Fifty events are to transform San Juan de la Rambla into “A Christmas Villa”.
The festive programme is to run up until January 11th and will see three categories: children’s, cultural and trade.
The Christmas markets return, the fashion catwalk and the “Give and win at Christmas” campaign.
Events dedicated to the little ones occupy a large part of the programming, with a multitude of activities that will keep them entertained.
These include workshops on how to make Christmas ornaments, decorating cribs, excursions, plays and inflatable castles in each of the district’s plazas.
Culture, on the other hand, continues to be the protagonist in “Una Villa de Navidad”, filling San Juan de la Rambla with music with concerts of carols, folklore, local music bands and author songs.
The support of commerce is key to the festivities to the Christmas campaign.
After the success of last year, the local council is repeating the Christmas Markets, which bring together local artisans and merchants in a day of more than six hours of continuous activities. The first was on December 3rd and the next is on December 11th.
The campaign to support local trade “Give and win at Christmas: 2017” is also launched again. For a minimum purchase of 20 euros in any of the participating establishments, shopppers will get a stamp in their gift voucher and when they have five, they can enter into the raffle for gifts.
