The Plaza del Ayunta-miento, in La Esperanza, will host this great event on Saturday, December 16th, in which different performan-ces will take place.
The programme starts at 11am and will go through to midnight.
The line-up will include performances by the school of Cheerleaders LusanFit, the rondalla Santa Cecilia, the Batistana rhythmic gymnastics club, the singer Luis Deseda and the orchestras Columbia of Barranco Hondo, Maracaibo and Revelation.
Councillor for social action and equality, María de los Ángeles Rodríguez, said: “The objective of this solidary marathon is that during this Christmas season, no boy, girl or young person in the municipality will be left without a gift, whatever the family’s economic situation may be. “
The day will also feature inflatable castles and a live radio programme by FM Rumberos. Throughout the day there will be a tent where the volunteers will collect the toys donated by the citizens, which must be new and unpacked.
The initiative aims to gather as many new toys as possible which will be distributed to the families most in need by the Three Kings.
The work of selection, classification and distribution of the compiled toys will be carried out by the social workers of El Rosario council.
