Success for Cycloturista and a new duathlon to come
San Juan de la Rambla is to host a new Duathlon in the near future to appeal to lovers of cycling and athletics.
This was announced by local councillor for sport Priscila Diaz at the close of the highly successful second “Cycloturista Villa de San Juan de la Rambla” which attracted a big crowd and 100 participants.
She confirmed that work was already starting on a third edition for next year and gave the first announcement of the new Duathlon to come “within the coming months.”
The 47 kilometre Cycloturista proved a real challenge for the competitors along urban and mountain tracks through San Juan de la Rambla, La Guancha and Icod de Alto.
