Granadilla offers sports courses for school population 

Granadilla de Abona, through the Department of Sports headed by Sara Cano Delgado, is offering a programme of sports activities for the school population of the municipality.

More than a dozen modalities will be developed in schools and sports from October 2nd to May 29th.

Basketball, rhythmic gymnastics, indoor soccer, tennis, inline skating, athletics, zumba, judo, karate, taekwondo, aikido, kickboxing, sports animation, athletics, badminton, volleyball and Canary fighting are part of the sports programming for this course.

“We are aware of the importance of sports practice for the personal development of our children and youth population, so this academic year 2017/2018 made a clear commitment to sports and physical activity, with a team of professionals to the front,” said Sara Cano.

Registration is open from Monday, September 18th at the different offices of the Citizen Assistance Service (SAC) or through the website www.granadilladeabona.org.
