Night-time star route a highlight of summer programme

Granadilla de Abona council, through the Department of Youth whose head is Eudita Mendoza, is offering a night-time route to the stars on Friday, August 18th.

The registration period is open until Thursday August 17th at the offices of the Citizen Assistance Service (SAC).

This activity, which is part of the programme that is organised in these summer months, is aimed at people over 16 years of age, being the medium difficulty route and approximately seven kilometres, traversing some trails of the Teide National Park from the Mirador de Boca de Tauce to the house of Juan Évora.

Also, the department has organised a baptism of sea for Friday 25 August, from 13.30 to 20.30 hours. The registration deadline is open until August 24. The initiative lasts four hours, in the aquatic zone of Playa San Juan, and includes activities of kayak, sailing, paddle surf and banana boating. In each activity, places are limited. More information in the SAC or 010, or in the Department of Youth and Citizen Participation (922-759959).

Eudita Mendoza invites you to continue enjoying the summer and to be an active part of this programme and the other municipal initiatives, such as Senderiza-t, which provides for the next route to Pico Viejo on September 10 and Arenas Negras on October 7, amongst others.
