Lanzarote’s environment campaign features on lottery tickets
The Lanzarote Biosphere Reserve and its awareness campaign against plastic will be made visible at national level in 5.5 million ONCE lottery coupons.
The image of “Agüita con el Plástico” of the campaign of the Cabildo of Lanzarote ‘Plastic Zero’ will be featured in the national draw of August 30th.
The Cabildo has thanked ONCE for the “important accolade” to this awareness campaign of the Lanzarote Biosphere Reserve, recognised and distinguished by several prizes (some national and even international), which aims to raise awareness about the global problem of plastic pollution in the environment.
Five and a half million coupons will disseminate the efforts of Lanzarote Cabildo for a more sustainable environment free of these highly polluting waste for our oceans and ecosystems, both terrestrial and marine.
The coupon which will go on sale on August 30th was presented this morning by the president of the Cabildo de Lanzarote and responsible for the Biosphere Reserve, Pedro San Ginés, and by the territorial delegate of ONCE in the Canaries, José Antonio López Mármol, accompanied by the director of the ONCE agency in Arrecife, Manuel Mendoza Sosa, and members of the Office of the Cabildo Biosphere Reserve.
