Happy endings at Acción del Sol
This lovely podenco arrived at the refuge with a broken leg over a year ago.
She was extremely thin and terrified of humans.
Our vet operated on her to repair her leg and after she was well enough, we sent her to Germany to one of our refuges that we collaborate with. One of the members of staff fell in love with her and has rehomed her.
It’s great to see such happy ending with such a sad traumatised dog that now has such a good home.
Please do call the refuge on 922778630 if you can help in any way. We are always in need of tinned dog food for our older dogs, as well as blankets, towels, sheets, dog toys, and collars and leads.
If you have any of the above to spare, they would be very much appreciated at the refuge or visit Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons from 14.00-17.00pm and Saturdays 13.00- 16.00.
We are situated directly under the Eolica Parque exit 52 on the TF1 north bound which
is after the after the El Medano junction .
Head for the giant windmills on the coast and we are the buildings on the right handside or email the refuge at firstname.lastname@example.org or visit our Facebook page action tier Acción del Sol.
