Fourth Pinolere Trail full in record time!
The Pinolere Trail due to take place in La Orotava on April 23rd has proved such a success that all the places are already booked up.
In fact, demand was so great that the organisers, who had put a ceiling of 500 runners to ensure quality, had to add another 100 to meet some of the demand.
The mountain race is organised by the Club Athletics Orotava-Clator and La Orotava council and will be celebrating its fourth edition.
“In this edition, as a major innovation, the race will host on the same day the Trail and Mountain Championships of the Canary Islands Athletics Federation at distances of 27 and 11 kilometres, respectively. Runners from different islands of the archipelago will gather around the Ethnographic Museum in Pinolere to get the desired title, which will surely raise the level of competitiveness of the participants,” said a spokesman.
Various associated attractions are also being planned including a talk on April 21st at Intersport at El Trompo by the runner Marcos Yánez
