Work begins on new Civil Guard office
Work has started on the new Civil Guard office in Radazul, Los Realejos.
The project is expected to take 12 months but hopes are high that it will actually be finished before then.
The building being converted, at a cost of around 64,000 euros, is in Radazul Alto and will be handed over once it meets all the necessary regulations.
The ground floor will have the office for the presentation of complaints, detention rooms, cells and parking area, while there will be offices for administration above.
The complaints section and cells will be shared with the Local Police of El Rosario. In this way, it is hoped action will be speeded up.
The building has been unused sine 2014, said councillor for works and urban planning, Jacinto Correa.
